As we come from Volos and reach the centre of Argalasti, we turn left towards Xinovrisi and immediately right towards the south on a narrow asphalt road (formerly a cobbled road), which leads us straight to the cemetery of Argalasti. From there we continue on a narrow dirt road, which soon shows parts of a cobbled road and walks on smooth ground. We meet a fork and go right observing the red signs and at a new junction we go straight ahead, with a horse farm on our left. The rural road where we walk, which used to be a path-calderimi, descends down the slope, at a junction we go straight and reach an olive grove.

On our right comes another dirt road from Metochi and joins our course. In the street we can see other sections of cobbled streets. We pass near the asphalt road going towards Lavkos and continue on the dirt road heading south, ignoring junctions with other roads going left.

Finally, we come out on the asphalt and cross over, where we find the continuation of the path, which was opened in early 2011 with much effort by the association of friends of the cobbled paths of South Pelion. After the paving of the car road in the early 1960s, the path was soon abandoned and became an impassable jungle.

The path passes by two ruined huts, crosses a small gully and going uphill we enter a rural road that comes from our right and above we come back to the asphalt road, which we cross obliquely. On the other side we find the continuation of the path, which climbs up the ridge, then walks for a while on flat ground and enters a rural road that goes downhill, crosses the asphalt road again, crosses the asphalt road at an angle and continues down the slope, where we meet a cobbled road again. We pass a small gully and then we find the continuation of the path on our left, which leads us in a short while to the fountain of Hatzis. Here it is worth making a stop to cool off under the plane tree and enjoy the beauty of the place.

From Chatzovrisi continues a nice wide cobbled road that climbs uphill and we reach the first houses of Lavkos, meeting an asphalt road, where we go a few meters left and then right to a cobbled road that leads us to the square of Lavkos.
