In Pelion the Vespa lovers!

THE 26TH NATIONAL MEETING AT “PAPA WATER”

On 31 August, the lovers of the legendary two-wheeler, Vespa, have a rendezvous in Agios Ioannis Pelion. Vespadians from all over Greece and abroad are opening the throttles to Magnesia, in order to stay until September 2 at the camping “Papa Nero”.

The Vespa Club of Volos, which has undertaken the organization of the 26th Panhellenic meeting of owners and lovers of the beautiful and popular scooter, expects the gathering of a large number of people from every corner of the country and with arrivals from outside the borders.

The program of the event includes, beauty pageants, rides to nearby destinations, skill and ability competitions for riders, and an open concert on Saturday night next to the campsite.

This is one of the two leading annual events of the popular scooter in Greece, which was undertaken for 2012 by Vespa Club Volos. The previous one was the 15th Winter Panhellenic Vespa Meeting, held from 3 to 5 March in Volos, with those who participated leaving with the best impressions.

The program of the summer national meeting includes a meeting of Vespa Club Hellas club representatives on Friday 31 August, at 7 pm, while at 9.30 am the welcome party will start in a bar of Agios Ioannis Pelion.

On Saturday, at 11am, there will be a tour in Tsagarada and the two-wheeled beauty pageant will follow… Lunch will follow at Papa Water and at 6pm the skill competitions will begin. In the evening the awards will be given to the winners of the pageants and skills and the evening will end with a party in an area near the campsite, to the musical sounds of a live band. The raffle has a great prize in store: a rebuilt Vespa model ’70.

On Sunday, Vespa enthusiasts will say goodbye, after the traditional commemorative photo of their national meeting.
