Agioi Saranta

After about 50 km from Volos we will meet the coast of Agioi Saranda, which is located north of the beach of Ai Giannis. It is another well-known coast of Pelion with beautiful turquoise waters and golden sandy beach, which turns into white fine gravel near the sea. It attracts a lot of people especially in August and, because the road is downhill and narrow, if you want to park near the coast you should arrive early. A stone’s throw away from the green trees, the characteristic feature of the beach of Agioi Saranda is the huge rock on the right side, which if you observe it closely you will see the shape of a crouching nun. The beach has basic organization with umbrellas and sunbeds and there are tavernas and beach-bars.
