Travelling for about 50km away from Volos, we come to the Agii Sarada beach, north of the Ayannis Beach. This is one of the best known Pelion beaches boasting beautiful azure waters and golden sand which turns into startlingly white shingles close to the water. A great many people are attracted here, especially in August, and if you want to park your car near the sea you’ll have to arrive early, since the road is narrow and slopes down. A huge rock is the characteristic feature of the Agii Sarada beach, found on the right side, almost adjoining the leafy ground. Stare at it and you will realize it resembles the figure of a stooped monk. The beach has the basics -sunshades and deck chairs- and there are little tavernas and beach bars.
