Pelion Ski Centre Agriolefkes

The Pelion Agriolefkes Ski Centre is 2 km from the settlement of Chania Pelion, 8 km from the settlement of Agios Lavrentios and 27 km from Volos. It is developed on the mountain of Pelion at an altitude of 1471 m, an altitude which is surprisingly low for a ski resort and gives it particularities in snowfall, terrain morphology and climate.

In total there are 5 tracks with a total length of 15 km, the four main tracks are for downhill skiing approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS) and one endurance track (Lang-Lauf), 5 km long, unique for its natural environment as the descent is made among beech trees, wild white trees, chestnut trees and views of the Aegean Sea.

The Ski Centre has 3 parking areas for more than 800 cars, a shelter, a refreshment room, a restaurant, ski & snowboard equipment rentals and sales and of course a medical centre. There is also a ski and snowboard school with special classes for children 3 years old and older by experienced teachers.

Even if you are not a skiing enthusiast, you can make do with a climb up the mountain for a walk and a coffee at the chalet, to enjoy the magnificent view and the warm atmosphere that generously unfolds in front of you. The traditional chalet of the ski center “Agriolefkes” offers you a variety of drinks, coffees and other hot drinks, along with traditional delicacies.
