Papa Nero

After travelling 56 km from Volos, we will meet the beautiful Papa Nero beach. It is a beach with golden sand, organized with umbrellas and sunbeds and with various picturesque tavernas with local seafood along the coastline. Cars are not allowed to enter the beach during the busy tourist season and so it remains a beautiful place for visitors to enjoy the unique combination of the green of the mountain, the beautiful blue sea and the crystal clear sandy beach. Also, Papa Nero has an organized camping with new toilets and showers as well as free internet. For those who prefer more intense activities, 400 metres away is the cosmopolitan beach of Agios Ioannis.
